Communicating with Your Customers Online

As we get more familiar with the social media tools, it is apparent that content may be the most important aspect of a successful social media campaign.

Social media isn’t as much about selling as it is about relationships. We have invited some of the best local examples of how to interact with your customers online.

SJC Athletics Hall of Fame Class to be Enshrined Saturday

Saint Joseph’s College is set to induct the 2010 Athletics Hall of Fame Class this coming Saturday. Rick Simonds (Steep Falls, ME), Jill (Bourget) Kelly ’94 (Smithfield, RI), Kendra Brown ’01 (Springvale, ME) and Chris Esmond ’94 (Falmouth, ME) compose the class, which is the eighth to be enshrined at St. Joe's.
A reception will be held in the Harold Alfond Center lobby beginning at 5:30 PM with the induction ceremony to follow at the SJC Dining Hall at 7:00 PM.
Simonds guided the Saint Joseph’s Men’s Basketball program for 23 seasons (1979-92, 1993-03) and posted an astounding 466-176 (.726) record with 11 conference titles and six national tournament appearances.
Bourget was a key member of the St. Joe’s Women’s Basketball team during one of the program’s most successful eras.

Life is good Thanksgiving Event

We need your help decorating our store for the Holidays!

Join us at Life is good on November 20th to celebrate Thanksgiving by creating a "Thank you Chain." You will be able to write down or draw what you are thankful for, or a good deed that you have done, on a strip of paper.  We will assemble them into a festive chain that will hang in our store.  How long can we make it!

We will also be holding a food drive to benefit the Good Shepard Food Bank.  Non-perishable food items will be collected on that day and will be brought to the Portland warehouse.

Kid friendly with coloring, popcorn, stickers, and balloons.

Don't forget, we accept donations to our Life is good Kids Foundation at the store.  Lets see how much we can raise this holiday season.  Hope to see you there.

Richardson Tabbed as GNAC Rookie of the Week

The Great Northeast Athletic Conference weekly honors have been released and Saint Joseph’s freshman Kevin Richardson (Coventry, CT) has been selected as the Golf Rookie of the Week.
Richardson shot a 162 in the 2010 GNAC Championship, which was held at Triggs Memorial Golf Course in Providence over the weekend. He cut eight strokes off his day-one score with a 77 on the final 18 holes and placed fourth overall. As the top rookie finisher, Richardson earned GNAC Rookie of the Year honors and, as one of the top five finishers, is the third St. Joe’s golfer to earn All-GNAC honors.
For Richardson, the weekly conference honor is his third of the year. He is the first SJC linker to collect GNAC Rookie of the Year accolades.
